lyrics

Cana Cludhmor’s had enough
Of her dearly beloved
So she retreats to the sea
To scream for peace

The ocean laps
But listens
Sprays salt spittle
A mirror for her anger.
Now she, a sandy effigy,
Stands demandingly
Begging the great Goddess
For the sound of softness -
A lullaby for all of her grief

Cana Cludhmor’s exhausted her lungs
Breathed her rage out in tired cries
She’s unfurling
And so she lies
In a place upon the shore
In the rib cage
Of mother nature’s finest beast

Cana Cludhmor sleeps
And in her dreams
The sinews blew
A healing melody
From an instrument stringed
Strung as it sung.
Never before heard
Never since forgotten

Cana Cludhmor wakes
With a new fire
Of nature’s inspiration
A gift of creation
Burning to heal her heartstrings
With an ethereal ring
Somehow capturing
The voices of every woman
That ever was in Ireland

Cana Cludhmor’s had enough
Of being underestimated
But just you wait
She’ll be a Goddess one day
